INDONESIA’S REGIONAL FOOD SECURITY IN LIGHT OF THE IMPENDING GLOBAL FOOD CRISIS

Multiple disruptions in health sectors and geopolitics has been alarming food security worldwide. This study provides insights by assessing the determinants of Indonesia creating a map country's most insecure areas as basis developing anticipating strategies. is quantitative nature using secondary data from Statistics Indonesia. To estimate model, we used Non-Parametric Splines Regression Clustering Analysis. The results show that greatly impacted rice production, population density, purchasing power index, expenditures, harvested area. Additionally, provinces medium to high level. showed need for integrating Indonesian chain policies such land, water, fertilizer availability. In addition, Bureau Logistics must take measures preserve availability distribution staple foods.
